This is a post on the Albums that I have listened to constantly when they were released or when Ifirst came across them, this shows that I liked most or all the songs that the artist and producers have created. When I discover a new artist that I've never listened to before. I usually would listen to there album on spotify which is a mobile and computer app which provides the tracks from the artist's album.

School Magazine COVER + CONTENTS

 I created the school magazine cover and contents page on Abode InDesign CS5.5, taking in consideration the survey results analysis and my own research.

Edited images for School magazine

I edited all the images on photoshop CS5, on photoshop to edit most of my images i used Auto brightness/contrast/colour. This was to efficiently yet successfully create a balanced image. The images also have all been increased in vibrancy and saturation, this is to make the image stand out more and by making the image more saturated it increases the depth of the colour. I did this because from my survey i have gathered that images are the main priority when looking at a magazine, therefore by increase the amount of colour in the image it makes the image less dull and more exciting.

I took the images for the school images for the magazine and varied the different types of shots to make it more interesting and to have a wider option of image selection.

Media Photography composition

For the open day leaflet in the sixth form, we needed to take an image for the leaflet, this was turned into a composition and in my group we produced this as our final entry. We also had to edit the image on photoshop.

In general from my discovery i have found out that in order to appeal to a student target audience its important to make it appealing to the eye, this includes school colours and images. by included a lot of text it will discourage the audience to pick up the magazine as it gives the impression of taking a lot of their time up. i also found out that its important it would be interesting for the magazine to include interactive elements such as puzzles and games in the magazine. From the survey i also found out that students want to take away something from the magazine, which is why self help and encouragement was something most requested for a school magazine. In order for the reader to purchase the magazine it must also be cheap and affordable.
