Edited images for School magazine
I edited all the images on photoshop CS5, on photoshop to edit most of my images i used Auto brightness/contrast/colour. This was to efficiently yet successfully create a balanced image. The images also have all been increased in vibrancy and saturation, this is to make the image stand out more and by making the image more saturated it increases the depth of the colour. I did this because from my survey i have gathered that images are the main priority when looking at a magazine, therefore by increase the amount of colour in the image it makes the image less dull and more exciting.
Types of shots
I took the images for the school images for the magazine and varied the different types of shots to make it more interesting and to have a wider option of image selection.
The varying shots are,

Media Photography composition
For the open day leaflet in the sixth form, we needed to take an image for the leaflet, this was turned into a composition and in my group we produced this as our final entry. We also had to edit the image on photoshop.
Flat plan blocking
This is my flat plan blocking of my front cover and contents page of my magazine. I created this by taking in the results of my survey and using those results to create this idea.

This post shows the codes and conventions of a cover page and a contents page of two different school magazines.
